Billy Bright plays mandolin in the Austin, TX bluegrass band, Wood & Wire, who was just nominated for a GRAMMY for 'Best Bluegrass Album 2019!

Billy's most recent releases are 'Bright Munde' (2014) and 'Es Mi Suerte' (2018) - both collaborations with banjo legend Alan Munde. Prior to that he co-founded Two High String Band in 1995, released many albums with them, and spent five years, beginning in 1999, under the tutelage of Peter Rowan & Tony Rice.

Billy plays an Ellis F5 Special that has been his primary instrument since around 2007.
